We thoughtfully invest our time to provide strategic direction and governance to advance organizations through thought leadership, guidance and intellectual capacity.
Governance and Bylaws
The Baylor Law Nonprofit Clinic provides area nonprofits with guidance and feedback on their 501(c)3 bylaws and governance documents. Each year, Law students will work with Executive Directors and Boards of Directors to review and advise nonprofits with oversight from a faculty advisor. The next date for the Baylor Law Nonprofit Clinic is TBD.
Boards and Advisors
Baylor University is home to more than a thousand faculty members who serve as experts in their fields of study and practice. As a partner institution, area organizations may formally request a Baylor faculty or staff member to serve on an advisory board or board of directors. In addition, these faculty and staff may also be uniquely qualified to speak to boards, event and conference attendees, or advise a formal project. If you would like to request this support please fill out a formal request.
Strategic Planning Services
When planning a retreat or strengthening an organization’s board, strategic planning is a crucial activity. Organizations may request a Baylor staff or faculty member to lead strategic planning services by filling out a formal request.
Faculty Loan Agreements
Nonprofits are important organizations and leadership is crucial to their success. When a leader transitions, however, a formal search may take months. With preparation and a formal request, Board of Directors may inquire with Baylor about loaning a faculty member for one or more semesters to support leadership needs during a time of transition. You may request a Faculty Loan Agreement by completing our form.
