Introducing inWaco

March 8, 2022
Introducing inWaco

The Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce hears often from employers about their needs whether they range from access to new customers or training for existing employees. Over the past year, however, employers have changed their tune. Talent is the buzzword du jour! As the great resignation commences following the initial phases of the COVID-19 pandemic, many businesses small and large began to experience difficulty in recruiting and retaining employees. The Greater Waco Chamber, in partnership with the City of Waco, McLennan County, and a half dozen employers came to the rescue with an exciting new initiative entitled inWaco!

inWaco serves as a digital hub of information, a landing place for interested parties, and a distribution point for prospective employees from across the country to learn about the city, the business community, and job opportunities. Today, thousands of interested parties have engaged the website and started looking at making a move to Waco for a great job opportunity. While we are expecting this need to continue, inWaco is poised to be an anchor asset to enhance options and opportunities for individuals and families considering a move to Waco.

The inWaco website covers such important topics as data points on the city, best places to live and engage, educational opportunities, new business creation support, industry data, entertainment and leisure options, and of course jobs! To learn more visit www.inwaco.com
